Spending Money on Gree Games - saving an opinion

Sometimes you find something at the gates of hell. And you have to decide: should I push it in or drag it away?

What if a wiki page is up for deletion for good reason but you want to keep the contents available for people to read? There is always the blog...

In this case the wiki page Spending money on Gree games in an earlier version posted by Tollerach in August 2013. Now, in November 2013, the page is nominated for deletion. With good reason.

I agree the contents should not be on a wiki page about K&D. But they can have a place on a blog. My blog for instance. I do not necessarily agree with the contents, in fact I never heard of Driland before. But that is exactly the reason why I found the information informative enough to forward it. Usua…

Enhancing Armour (3) - Unmatching Armour

In my previous post I showed enhancing an armour with Snakeskin Armor costs less gold than enhancing with uncommon armour once the (3 star or 4 star) armour you enhance reached level 16. If your armour contains either element water or element earth. About half the possible element combinations in armours do contain those elements, but the other half does not. In that case enhancing with matching element armour is only possible with other armours than Snakeskin Armor.

There is the possibility of using another one of the Storyline Armors‎ containing different elements. You can use Atlantean Avenger Armor (water/air, 6,000 gold to craft), Crius Armor (earth/air, 9,000 gold), Chimera Corps Uniform (earth/spirit, 12,000), Living Flame Armor (fir…

Enhancing Armour (2) - Cost Accounting

What is the most efficient way to enhance an armour? It seems to be the most asked question on this wiki. Many people answered it and people get different, sometimes uninformed, sometimes almost right answers. I have tried to answer the question a few times too on the wiki. My answers sometimes differed slightly, because there are many aspects that should be considered when you assess the best way of enhancing your armour. You can simply follow the rules of thumb that circulate. The most common I found were:

  1. Use Snakeskin Armor
  2. Have 4 Armorsmiths
  3. Use matching element armour for enhancement
  4. Use all 4 available Enhancement Slots every time

All those rules of thumb have a grain of truth in them. But all are also limited.

For instance using Snakeski…

Enhancing Armour (1) - Some basic data

Some people desperately need to get a life. I am one of them. But instead I get games. What does a game nerd like me do on a rainy Saturday? Enhance armour of course! What else?

So that is what I did. I needed a Headless Horseman + for fighting against Wyvern real quick. So I tried to level it up as fast as I could. While I did that I kept a log in a spreadsheet. I basically wrote down what level I was whenever I enhanced the armour, to what level it took me and how many EP (enhancement points) I added. I made sure to comment on how far up in the level I got with the enhancement. I wrote down if I only just made it into the level or got halfway or almost made it to the next level. That allowed me to analyse the progress and estimate the  EP…
