Moontide Platemail is a Spirit/Water Epic Armor and it is the first Epic in the game. This armor was originally available in the Limited Edition Dragon Chest and has since been available in every Limited Edition Chest to date. The plus version is only obtainable through Limited Edition Chests, or Guild Wars and Raids as leaderboard rewards. It is effective against Earth/Fire types but ineffective against Fire/Air types.
The Epic Boss Armor, Wraithscale Armor++, has the same element combination as Moontide Platemail and has higher stats than the regular version of this armor. This is currently the worst Epic Armor in the game as far as stats are concerned, due to the fact that it is heavily outdated.
